A sire and son at the National
The Great Dane Club of America National Specialty is the breed's most important show, with entries from across the country. Pegasus attended for the first time in 2016 with two dogs it had bred.
- GCH Angus won the Stud Dog class, which is judged on the quality of a sire's offspring.
- CH Nox, his son, was awarded Winners Dog: the top non-champion male in a large national entry.
Both under breeder-judge Jack Watts. Nox was handled by Aslynn Rose.

What the titles mean
Dog show titles are written as abbreviations before (earned in conformation) and after (earned in performance and other activities) a dog's registered name.

- Earned by winning 15 points under different judges, including two majors.
- GCHAKC Grand Champion
- The next level after champion: 25 points, three majors, and wins over other champions.
- Int'l CHInternational Champion
- A championship earned at international-format shows such as IABCA.
- RBISReserve Best in Show
- Runner-up to Best in Show across all breeds at a show.
- BISSBest in Specialty Show
- Top dog at a show held only for Great Danes.
- BPISSBest Puppy in Specialty Show
- Top puppy at a Great Dane specialty.
- AOMAward of Merit
- Given by the judge to outstanding champions at specialties and Nationals.
- Winners Dog
- The best non-champion male. At a National, it is the top male from a nationwide entry of class dogs.
- Stud DogStud Dog class
- Judged on the quality of a sire's offspring, shown with him in the ring.
- Brood BitchBrood Bitch class
- Judged on the quality of a dam's offspring, shown with her in the ring.
